What is the fine art loan or purchase process?
If you would like to sell your artwork or perhaps receive an art loan, please contact us. Biltmore Loan and Jewelry will appraise your artwork and present you with an offer, as either a loan or sale. We are experienced in appraising art from well known to lesser known artists using various methods. We also have an extensive network of art dealers, art brokers, and art appraises to assist us in finding the true value of your piece or pieces.
Will my pieces used in the art loan be safe and secure?
All artwork is insured and stored in a secure, safe and temperature controlled environment to ensure that the integrity and original condition of the piece is maintained.
How do I obtain an art loan or get cash for art?
In order to speed up the appraisal process, please call or email us with the following information:
- Name and Title of the piece
- An image of the art work (front/back/signature shots would be helpful)
- The dimensions (size) and medium (oil on canvas, bronze sculpture, etc)
- Original purchase invoice or paperwork that came with the artwork
Certain pieces require a large amount of research involving analyzing past auction results and consulting with various experts in the art business. For this reason, please include as much relevant research, literature or additional documentation you think may be helpful to us in determining a value for your artwork.
